Some of you might have heard already, but I’m excited to announce that the second edition of What He Wants is now available.

This book holds a very special place in my heart. It was my first breakout novel, and I still remember the giddy feeling of checking my Amazon dashboard to see if it had gone live and seeing double-digits sales already recorded. Up until that point, I don’t think I’d sold as many books in total, so to say I was ecstatic would be an understatement. I distinctly recall dancing around the office, which led to an interesting subsequent conversation with my colleagues….

The book went on to be the #1 LGBT title on five of Amazon’s (then) six domains, including the US, UK, France, and Germany. It also hit #1 LGBT book on a number of iTunes domains, including the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. It truly is an international #1—an accolade I never thought I’d see applied to one of my books when I first started publishing.

Christo’s life fell apart when his partner of eight years walked out on him. A fling with sexy, arrogant Damien might be just what he needs to help him get over his ex. But letting someone in is never easy, especially when you’re two alpha men both used to being the boss.

For its fifth birthday (how time flies!), I’ve give it a complete overhaul. The story is the same but all the text has been revised, and in places completely rewritten. About 15k of the second edition is significantly different to the original.

If you purchased the book prior to this month, you will have the option of accessing the second edition file. I spoke to Amazon today and they’ve agreed to push the new edition to all buyers. You might or might not get an email advising of the update. Either way, you can download the new version through the “Manage Your Content and Devices” section of your Amazon account. (Check your settings and turn Automatic Book Update on if you want new books pushed to you automatically in future.)

The new edition is available now from iTunes and Smashwords. It will be rolling out to B&N shortly (look out for the new cover!). If you purchased the book through ARe and want the second edition, send proof of purchase to author (at) kateaaron.com and I’ll send you the new version.
